| The village of Paliambela is 73 km from Thessaloniki and approximately 40 km from the city of Katerini. It is only 2-3 km from the town of Eginio, which is the transport hub of the area. Getting there is easy by any means of transport. |

| By train |
From Thessaloniki:
 Trains to Eginio-Kolindros depart daily from the new Thessaloniki railway station. Address: 28 Monastiriou Street, tel: 2310 517517-8. The journey on the Intercity train lasts about 30 minutes. For further information and to book a ticket pay a visit to the offices of the National Rail Company (OSE) at 18 Aristotelous Square, Thessaloniki, tel: 2310-598120, or visit the OSE website.
From Katerini:
Trains depart daily for Eginio. The journey lasts 15-20 minutes.

On arrival at Eginio you can reach Paliambela by taxi. The village is only 3 km from the Eginio railway station. Taxis can be found outside the railway station and at the main square of the town. |

| By bus |
From Thessaloniki:
 Buses that go directly to Paliambela leave daily from the new “ Macedonia ” Intercity Bus Station. The journey lasts around 40 minutes. For further information and to book a ticket go to the Pieria Bus office at the Macedonia station, call 2310 595428, or visit the KTEL website.
From Katerini:
Daily departures. The journey lasts 15-20 minutes. For further information call 23510 29317. |

| By car |
 The journey lasts approximately 45 minutes from Thessaloniki and 25 minutes from Katerini. Follow the Thessaloniki-Katerini motorway (E75) and turn off at the Eginio/Kolindros exit. Drive along the main road of Eginio towards Alexandria , and near the edge of the town turn left at the sign for Paliambela/Kolindros. Follow the road for about 300m and turn right, taking the road that leads to Paliambela village. |

| Air connections |
 For visitors travelling from abroad it must be noted that the nearest airport is in Thessaloniki ( Macedonia airport - SKG). It is situated 16 km from the city centre and is connected to the Intercity Bus Station by bus route 78 (hourly departures). More details can be found on the 'Makedonia' airport website.
